These vacancies span multiple disciplines and are tailored to support the county’s strategic development goals.
1. Department of Finance, Economic Planning and ICT
- Audit Committee Members (2 Posts)
- Duties: Oversight on audit, risk, and governance matters.
- Requirements: Minimum of 5 years in senior management, relevant degree, membership in a professional body (e.g., ICPAK, LSK), and not previously affiliated with the County in the last 2 years.
- Revenue Clerks – Job Group D (20 Posts)
- Duties: Revenue collection duties under supervision.
- Requirements: KCPE & KCSE (min. D+), Certificate/Diploma in a business-related course.
2. Office of the County Secretary
- Chief Officer – Governor’s Office – Job Group S (1 Post)
- Duties: Departmental administration and policy implementation.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, 10 years professional experience (5 in senior management), understanding of Vision 2030, Chapter Six compliance.
- Chief Officer – Finance and Accounting – Job Group S (1 Post)
- Duties: Finance administration, budgeting, planning, policy execution.
- Requirements: CPA/ACCA certification, ICPAK registration, relevant bachelor’s degree, 10 years’ experience (5 in leadership), Chapter Six compliance.
3. Department of Gender, Youth, Sports and Social Services
- Director, Youth Affairs and Sports – Job Group R (1 Post)
- Duties: Lead youth and sports development, manage facilities and programs.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s & Master’s in relevant fields, 7 years senior experience, strategic leadership training preferred.
- Social Welfare Officer – Job Group J (2 Posts)
- Deployment: One to Social Services, one to Gender Directorate.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s in Sociology, Gender, or related field.
- Social Welfare Officer – Job Group H (2 Posts)
- Duties: Coordination and implementation of welfare programs.
- Requirements: Diploma in relevant field, good moral standing.
4. Fire Department
