Through partnerships with local communities, conservancies, landowners, tourism operators, and government agencies, MMWCA champions sustainable conservation that benefits both wildlife and people.

As part of its commitment to empowering the next generation of conservation leaders, MMWCA is inviting qualified and passionate interns to apply for a variety of internship roles. These positions offer hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to wildlife conservation, natural resource management, and community development.

Available Internship Opportunities at MMWCA

1. Wildlife Management / Natural Resource Management Intern
Support conservation efforts by conducting field surveys, wildlife monitoring, population assessments, and working alongside ranger teams. You’ll also help raise biodiversity awareness in local communities.

2. Resource Management Intern
Assist in developing natural resource inventories, ecosystem monitoring, and land-use planning. Help formulate sustainable resource management strategies across conservancies.

3. Community Development Intern
Engage in programs that enhance education, health, and livelihoods in local communities. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and monitor the impact of development initiatives.

4. Gender Studies Intern
Promote gender equality in conservation projects. Conduct gender research, organize training workshops, and integrate gender-responsive strategies across MMWCA programs.

5. Finance / Economics Intern
Gain hands-on experience in budgeting, grant reporting, financial analysis, and audit support. Assist in project cost-benefit evaluations and financial documentation.

6. Procurement Intern
Support procurement processes including drafting purchase requisitions, supplier evaluation, logistics coordination, and contract management.

7. Communications Intern
Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and websites. Capture field activity highlights through photography and video, and support awareness campaigns.

8. Information Technology (IT) Intern
Assist with IT infrastructure support, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, network operations, and digital platform maintenance.

9. Human Resource (HR) Intern
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation. Help manage HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws.

10. Geographic Information System (GIS) Intern
Collect and analyze spatial data, produce planning maps, and maintain geospatial databases. Assist with GIS training and conservation mapping projects.
