The Nairobi Film Centre (NFC) serves as a national cultural hub and event space for Kenyan creative arts.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Access & Security Management
- Open and secure all entrances at shift start/end
- Control access to various parts of the facility
- Guide and monitor visitors to ensure safety and order
2. Incident Reporting
- Report maintenance issues and security breaches
- Record irregularities and share with supervisors
- Maintain activity logs for administrative reference
3. Customer Assistance & Booking Support
- Guide event clients to the booking office
- Inform guests about venue schedules and operations
- Help manage hall bookings and seating logistics
4. Guest Relations & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist patrons courteously
- Provide accurate information about NFC services
- Support event setups and smooth guest transitions
5. Safety Compliance
- Collaborate with security during events
- Help enforce fire safety and evacuation protocols
- Maintain order in public areas like corridors and halls
6. Crowd Control
- Monitor crowd movement before/during/after events
- Report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Prevent disturbances during screenings and performances
7. General Duties
- Execute miscellaneous support tasks as assigned
- Be flexible with shifts and operational demands
- Uphold KFCB values with professionalism
Work Schedule
The Nairobi Film Centre operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Applicants must be ready to work rotational shifts, including:
- Night and early morning shifts
- Weekends and public holidays
- During national film events and festivals
