TSC Directs Counties to Nominate Agriculture Teachers for 2025 National Conference at JKUAT
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued an internal memo directing all County Directors to nominate teachers for the upcoming 2025 National Agricultural Teachers Conference, scheduled to take place at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) from 6th to 8th August 2025.

Target:
Each county is expected to nominate 20 Agriculture teachers, bringing the total number of participants to 940 teachers from across Kenya’s 47 counties.
Reporting Date:
- 5th August 2025 (Tuesday) from 3:00 p.m.
Venue & Accommodation:
- The Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) will host the conference at JKUAT.
- Accommodation will be provided at the university.
Participation Fee:
- Each teacher is required to pay Kshs. 9,500, which covers:
- Seminar tuition
- Study materials
- Coordination
- Meals and refreshments
Transport & Incidental Expenses:
- Participating schools are requested to cover transport, allowances, and other incidental costs for their nominated teachers.
Submission Deadline:
- Counties must submit the final list of nominees by 11th July 2025 to enable smooth coordination with the Agricultural Society of Kenya.
