TSC Circular: Nomination of 2025 KNEC Invigilators, Supervisors, and Centre Managers
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has released Circular No. 17/2025 (Ref. No: TSC/ADM/192A/VOL.X/61) on the nomination of Centre Managers, Supervisors, and Invigilators who will oversee the administration of the 2025 national examinations and KPSEA summative assessments.
According to the circular, the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) will conduct the following exams between October 21 and November 21, 2025:

Key Guidelines for Nominations
TSC Sub-County Directors are instructed to identify, vet, and nominate teachers who will serve as Centre Managers, Supervisors, and Invigilators. The nominations must be entered into the KNEC CP2 system (https://cp2.knec.ac.ke) by September 26, 2025.
Important Requirements:
- Eligibility
- Only qualified, employed, and TSC-registered teachers/HOIs may be deployed.
- Nominees must uphold integrity and avoid any conflict of interest.
- Deployment Rules
- No supervisor or invigilator may serve in a school they have worked in within the last 3 years.
- Teachers with vested interest in a centre must declare it and be redeployed.
- CP2 System Registration
- All Centre Managers, Supervisors, and Invigilators must register on CP2 before deployment.
- Daily online attendance must be recorded by Centre Managers from rehearsal day until the end of exams.
- Declaration of Interest
- KNEC will share declaration forms via Sub-County Directors.
- Centre Managers must submit signed and stamped attendance registers to KNEC after each exam.
- Special Guidelines for Stage-Based Pathways
- Teachers will invigilate their own learners in KILEA and KPLEA.
- One invigilator is required for every 10 learners.
- No supervisors or Centre Managers will be deployed for KILEA and KPLEA centres.

The 2025 KNEC examinations will run from October 21 to November 21, 2025. TSC requires all Sub-County Directors to nominate and register qualified teachers on the CP2 system by September 26, 2025 to serve as Centre Managers, Supervisors, and Invigilators. Strict integrity, conflict-of-interest declarations, and adherence to CP2 guidelines will be enforced to ensure credible examinations.
