Now Open: Apply for Kazi Mtaani Jobs Today, The Government of Kenya has officially launched a new phase of the Kazi Mtaani Program under the Climate Workx initiative, now branded as the Climate Resilience Service Program (CRSP). Starting Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Kenyan youth between 18 and 35 years can apply online for thousands of job opportunities aimed at improving environmental sustainability and community infrastructure.
This revamped program is part of the government’s efforts to fight unemployment while tackling climate change through meaningful work and environmental restoration projects.
What Is the Climate Resilience Service Program (CRSP)?
CRSP is a public works and youth empowerment initiative implemented in partnership with KeRRA, KURA, and NGAO officers, and supported by the Kenya Forest Service (KFS). The program focuses on creating green jobs while enhancing public infrastructure and climate resilience at the community level.
Key Activities Include:
- Road repair and maintenance under supervision from KeRRA and KURA engineers
- Tree planting, seedling production, and seedbed preparation in collaboration with KFS
- Participating in national values training and community development initiatives during rest cycles
Eligibility & Guidelines
- Age Limit: 18–35 years
- One Applicant Per Household is allowed
- Gender Balance: 50:50 male-female recruitment ratio will be enforced
- Disability Inclusion: 30% of positions are reserved for youth living with disabilities
- Ex-NYS graduates will be given priority for supervisory roles
Work & Rotation Structure
- Youth will work in 2 rotating cohorts, each assigned for 10 weekdays (Monday to Friday)
- During off-weeks, recruits will attend workshops on patriotism, personal development, and national values
Payment Details
All payments will be processed via M-Pesa every 10 days:
- General Workers: KES 500 per day
- Supervisors: KES 580 per day
⚠️ Note: Avoid using Fuliza or overdrafts to ensure smooth payments.

Village-Based Recruitment Approach
The recruitment will be conducted at the village level. All Assistant Chiefs and Nyumba Kumi leaders are urged to spread awareness through:
