Job description: Answering to the Senior Mentor, the Coach is liable for preparing Understudies under the arrangements of the particular School as per Norms of Preparing Confirmation and Watch keeping (STCW) 1978 as changed and other Oceanic Worldwide Shows.

The Trainer will help with practical training in vessel navigation, maintenance, and repairs. Obligations and Obligations: Obligations and obligations at this level will involve aiding: –

i. Programming, developing, and delivering training

ii. Policymaking for Maritime Education and Training

iii. Creating and checking on educational plan

iv. Fostering the school schedule and time postponing

v. The turn of events, assessment of educating, learning and appraisal materials vi. Managing students’ Functional meetings, Exchange Activities and Strategies

vii. internal examination marking viii. Keeping records of students’ attendance and performance

ix. ensuring that workshop equipment is in good working order and regularly maintained Individual Particulars:

For arrangement to this grade a Competitor should have the accompanying:

i. Four year college education in Nautical Science from a College perceived in Kenya, OOW Reg II/1 or then again Expert Reg. II/3 (under 500 GT)

ii. Important ocean experience at the board level will be an additional benefit

iii. Capability in PC applications

iv. Satisfy the prerequisites of Section Six of the Constitution. Fruitful up-and-comers will be expected to submit legitimate consistence authentications from Kenya Income Authority, Morals and Hostile to Debasement, an enrolled Credit Reference Department, Advanced education.

Advances Board and a good conduct certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations before beginning of the work contract.
