Assessment Breakdown
Primary School:
- Grades 4 and 5: SBA scores contribute 40% to the final scores in the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), conducted at the end of Grade 6.
- Grade 3: Students complete school-based assessment projects annually in the second term.
- Grade 6: Learners prepare for their final KPSEA assessment without undertaking projects.
Junior School:
- Grades 7 and 8: SBA scores contribute 40% to the final scores in the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), held at the end of Grade 9.
- Grade 9: Students focus on preparing for the KJSEA final assessment and do not have projects.
Senior School:
- Grades 10 and 11: SBA projects are conducted annually in the second term.
- Grade 12: Learners concentrate on their final Kenya Senior School Education Assessment (KSSEA) before proceeding to tertiary education, thus do not engage in projects.
Annual Written Tests:
