KNEC Announces Recruitment of KCSE Oral and Practical Paper Assessors for 2025 Exams, The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has officially announced the recruitment of assessors for the 2025 KCSE Oral and Practical examinations. Qualified secondary school teachers and college tutors are invited to apply for this exciting opportunity to be part of the national assessment process. The training and deployment will take place between 10th June and 30th July 2025.

KNEC Assessor Recruitment Requirements

To qualify for this recruitment, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be practicing teachers or lecturers registered by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or a recognized professional body.
  • Have a Diploma or Degree in Education or in the relevant area of specialization.
    • For technical subjects (e.g., Power Mechanics, Aviation Tech), a Diploma in Technical Education or Engineering is acceptable.
  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years teaching experience.
  • Must NOT be under any disciplinary action or interdiction.
  • Must be recommended by the head of their current institution.
  • Be 50 years of age or below.

How to Apply

Interested applicants should:

  1. Visit the KNEC Contracted Professionals portal via https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke/
  2. Existing users should log in with their CP2 credentials and click the “Apply for Assessors” button.
  3. New users must create an account and follow all instructions to complete the application process.
  4. Submit scanned copies of:
    • National ID
    • TSC registration certificate
    • Academic and professional certificates
    • Letter of recommendation

Note: Only qualified applicants who meet the full criteria and submit all necessary documents will be shortlisted.
