Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) Hiring Drivers – 5 Vacancies Available, The Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) is inviting qualified candidates to apply for five (5) Driver positions. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining Authority vehicles to ensure safe and efficient transportation of staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date vehicle work tickets.
- Submit regular reports on vehicle usage and condition.
- Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately.
- Ensure vehicles are always in proper mechanical condition.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for the Driver position, applicants must have:
- KCSE mean grade D+ (or equivalent from a recognized institution).
- Occupational Trade Test II Certificate.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A Certificate of Good Conduct (renewable every 2 years).
- Completed a Defensive Driving Course from a recognized institution.
- At least three (3) years of proven driving experience.
- A valid First Aid Certificate (at least 1-week training from St. John’s Ambulance or equivalent).
