KCB Bank Group Now Hiring: Regional Technical Associates Analyst
KCB Bank Group is seeking a Regional Technical Associates Analyst to serve as a vital connection between the Technology department and business operations. This role will be the primary point of contact for regional branches throughout Kenya, responsible for translating business needs into technology solutions that are achievable, cost-effective, and practical.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote understanding of IT services, policies, and procedures across all business divisions within the bank.
- Coordinate IT service assessments in assigned regions and follow up on feedback from branch visits.
- Conduct on-site visits to branches to assist with technical issues, in collaboration with the Group Head Office Technology team.
- Provide basic training on tools such as SmartFix, corporate emails, and internal platforms like SharePoint and the intranet.
- Plan and execute visits to branches within designated regions.
- Share updates and ongoing innovations from the Technology team that affect branch operations.
- Handle technology-related escalations and collaborate with Technology Business Partners to resolve issues.
- Provide feedback on ways to improve technology experiences in branches to the central Technology team.
- Evaluate the condition and performance of tech infrastructure such as PCs, printers, servers, and network devices.
- Monitor and resolve overdue SmartFix service tickets within the region.
- Offer first-line IT support at the branch level.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT.
- Proven hands-on experience (minimum 3 years) in at least two IT areas such as End User Support, IT Governance, Service Management, or Support within a complex IT environment.
- A minimum of 3 years’ background in technical support.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and report generation.
