We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Education Shadow Teacher to provide one-on-one support for a Year 4 student with learning disabilities in maths and English. This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of a young learner in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized educational support in maths and English.
- Assist with classroom activities during school hours.
- Offer additional homework support and educational assistance outside school hours, as agreed with the parents.
- Develop and implement tailored learning strategies to meet the student’s specific needs.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to enhance the student’s educational experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in special needs education, specifically in supporting students with learning disabilities in maths and English.
- Patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the student, parents, and school staff.
- Preferably a female teacher, in accordance with the family’s preference.
