Software Developer Intern

Job Purpose: Software Developer (Betalab – Partnership and Digital Department)

Objective:
Work within Betalab under the Partnership and Digital department to identify requirements, design and develop solutions (database design, workflows, user/data interfaces, integrations), and offer technical support for Betalab solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion the development of digital solutions by conducting business analysis, designing end-user testing documents, and collaborating with internal and external parties for user testing.
  • Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
  • Design and develop front-end, middle-tier, and back-end database components for business applications.
  • Perform technical design and development tasks to ensure effective implementation of business applications.
  • Enhance and create user and system documentation as needed.
  • Conduct data modeling to analyze and specify data structures within an application system.
  • Develop database objects and structures for data storage, retrieval, and reporting according to specifications.
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs.
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback.
  • Capture business application information needs and map them to software and/or database components.
  • Research and provide input on design approaches, performance, and base functionality improvements.
  • Generate ideas to improve efficiency in software and application services or create revenue-generating solutions.

Job Purpose: Intern, Product Analyst

Objective:
The Product Associate Intern is responsible for planning, executing, and tracking initiatives to drive product sales and support partner sales activities. The role involves managing relationships, tracking sales activities, and ensuring objectives are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the department to define planned initiatives for the year and set sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Brand & CX, Finance) to ensure the success of initiatives.
  • Follow up with relevant stakeholders on product requirements, testing, approvals, or plans to ensure smooth execution.
  • Execute outlined initiatives within set timelines and achieve e-sales goals and objectives.
  • Gather and evaluate customer/user feedback.
  • Share feedback with stakeholders and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in product training and sales meetings as required.
