Job Overview: The company is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support its creative department. The intern will be responsible for designing various advertising materials for different media platforms, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, and contributing to the creative direction of the company. The role will involve designing engaging animations for platforms like TV commercials and digital media, creating motion graphics, and ensuring all designs are visually appealing and aligned with the brand. The intern will also be responsible for video editing, encoding, and enhancing motion graphics by adding effects.
The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date with advancements in animation techniques, new technologies, and design trends to deliver modern and innovative work. They will be expected to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring timely completion of all tasks. The intern will also support the implementation of the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS) within their department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and design a variety of advertising materials for diverse media platforms.
- Define the creative direction for the company while following established brand guidelines.
- Design animations for various media channels such as TV commercials and digital platforms.
- Prepare conceptual layouts for motion graphic projects, focusing on visual clarity and appeal.
- Select the appropriate audio, graphic, and animation styles to fit different projects.
- Edit and enhance videos by adding effects and improving motion graphics.
- Keep up with the latest animation techniques, technologies, and trends to ensure the quality of the work remains cutting-edge.
- Ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality output.
- Handle multiple projects at once, ensuring all are within design specifications and budget constraints.
- Support the implementation of the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS) within your role.
- Follow the company’s values and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create high-quality visual content.
- Ability to understand and apply brand style guidelines to produce consistent and compelling designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills in visual design.
- Ability to mediate and find creative solutions to challenges.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
- A self-starter who can work independently but also collaborate effectively with the team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Training in Graphic Design & Technology, Communication, Advertising & Public Relations, or Journalism.
- At least 1 year of experience in video production and animation in a busy work environment.
