Claims Officer – Kikuyu

Position Overview:
Equity Afia is seeking a meticulous and organized Claims Officer to join the Kikuyu team. The role focuses on managing and processing insurance claims efficiently to ensure compliance and support the organization’s revenue cycle management.

Key Duties:

  • Process and verify medical insurance claims
  • Ensure accuracy of claim documentation
  • Communicate with insurance providers to resolve issues
  • Follow up on unsettled claims for timely resolution
  • Maintain detailed claim records and generate reports
  • Collaborate with finance and billing departments as needed

Qualifications:

  • CPA Part Two qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Strong communication skills

Community Oral Health Officer – Kutus

Role Summary:
We are recruiting a skilled Community Oral Health Officer to join our Kutus medical center. The successful candidate will promote oral hygiene and provide preventive and curative dental services to the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver oral health education and promote dental hygiene
  • Conduct minor dental surgeries and clinical procedures
  • Diagnose and manage common oral health issues
  • Refer complex cases for advanced care
  • Maintain dental equipment and ensure infection control
  • Keep patient records and produce health reports

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Community Oral Health
  • Registered and licensed with Oral Health Association of Kenya (OHAK) or Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
  • Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Proficient in computer use
  • Good communication abilities
