Internship Overview
Cytonn is looking for ambitious, self-driven individuals to join its Finance Department under the Asset Management division. This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in fund accounting, compliance, financial reporting, and corporate finance.
Top performers will be considered for full-time roles after successful completion of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining books of accounts and month-end closings
- Support preparation of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for CMA
- Ensure compliance with tax and statutory filings (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.)
- Perform cash and bank reconciliations and verify financial documentation
- Generate monthly invoices and manage record compliance
- Track fund transactions and update accounting systems promptly
- Process service provider payments efficiently
- Assist with internal and external audit documentation
- Handle other assigned finance tasks
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Second Class Upper minimum)
- B+ in KCSE, including B+ in Mathematics and English
- CPA (or equivalent certification) is an added advantage
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Multitasking and time management abilities
