Candidates Shortlisted BY PSC Interview Venue, Dates and Time
The University of Eldoret has recently announced the vacancies for the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic and Students Affairs. In accordance with the Universities Act, 2012 and Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act No. 18 of 2018, the Public Service Commission has declared this information through print media and on their official website on 28th February, 2023.
After the application period closed on 20th March 2023, a total of Seventy-Eight (78) applications were received. Following the completion of the shortlisting process, the Commission has now published the names of the applicants and the shortlisted candidates, along with the interview schedule.

The interview for the shortlisted candidates will take place at the Public Service Commission located on Harambee Avenue in Nairobi. It is important for the candidates to arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled starting time.
Candidates are required to bring the original copies of the following documents:
(i) National Identity Card
(ii) Academic and Professional Certificates and Transcripts
(iii) Letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) for candidates who obtained degrees from foreign universities
(iv) Any other supporting documents and testimonials.
In order to ensure transparency, members of the public are encouraged to provide any credible information regarding the shortlisted candidates. This can be done through sworn affidavits submitted to the Secretary/CEO of the Public Service Commission, located on the 4th floor of Commission House on Harambee Avenue in Nairobi. Alternatively, information can also be submitted online via hodrands@publicservice.go.ke. The deadline for submitting information is on or before 28th May, 2024.
