The National Housing Corporation (NHC) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, Cap. 117, with a mandate to implement government housing policies and programs. NHC is seeking motivated and results-driven individuals to join their team as Artisans.

Job Specification:
Responsibilities at this level include:
- Undertaking general and routine servicing of plant and equipment
- Performing cleaning services for plant and equipment, ensuring tidiness of the working environment
- Collecting, sorting, and disposing of general workshop/plant waste
- Ensuring the safe custody of cleaning materials, tools, and equipment
- Assisting in preparing and servicing machinery and equipment
- Moving or carrying office equipment and furniture, ensuring orderly arrangement
- Operating machinery and equipment
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance of property equipment and accessories such as elevators, escalators, water pumps, fire equipment, and generators
- Conducting inspections of facilities to identify, confirm, and report any maintenance-related issues or potential problems for escalation and action
- Undertaking construction works, repairs, and maintenance of building and infrastructure
- Working with the immediate supervisor to requisition repairs as required
- Addressing minor tenant complaints
Person Specification:
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- National Trade Test III certificate in the area of specialization or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Fulfillment of the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution

Terms of Service and Remuneration
Positions in Grades 4 to 12 are permanent and pensionable. Successful candidates will receive a competitive remuneration package in line with the Corporation’s Salary Structure.
