Role Description
This is a field-based role as an Insurance Sales Representative with a reputable insurance company located in Nakuru West. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling various insurance products to potential customers. Your day-to-day tasks will involve identifying leads, contacting prospects, explaining insurance policies, and guiding customers through the insurance application process.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads for potential customers.
- Contact prospects and explain insurance products and policies.
- Guide customers through the insurance application process.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Stay updated with knowledge of insurance products and policies.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in insurance sales or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset and the ability to build rapport.
- Knowledge of insurance products and policies.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Highly motivated and self-driven.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Degree or diploma in sales and marketing, finance, insurance, or a related field.
- COP (Certificate of Proficiency) an added advantage.
