Phoenix Capital Limited, a non-deposit-taking microfinance institution established in 2012, is seeking motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Agents to join our team. This role offers a competitive retainer and commission structure, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in sales and marketing within the insurance or microfinance sector.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or any related field.
- Diploma in Insurance or a degree in a business-related course.
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of previous experience in an insurance company or microfinance institution performing sales and marketing tasks.
- Marketing or sales experience is preferred.
Salary and Incentives
- Retainer: 10,000 KES monthly upon meeting targets.
- Commissions: Competitive commissions paid upon sale closure for every sale made.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute unsupervised marketing activities within Nairobi and its metropolitan areas.
- Generate new leads, prospects, and conversions.
- Educate and consult with clients on various insurance products and types.
- Maintain key accounts.
- Penetrate new markets, keeping up with new demands and conducting market surveys in asset finance, logbook loans, and insurance premium finance.
